And that’s where you come in. We are hiring a Product Designer. Reporting to the product manager, you will work within the product team to understand both end-user and customer needs and how our product should meet them to deliver the optimum experience.

What's Involved?

  • You’ll work with the Product Manager in building out and delivering our product roadmap, bringing the experience and voice of the customer to the table. 
  • You’ll define UX journey diagrams, key UI principles and feature briefs.
  • You’ll be the torchbearer for UX consistency and quality across the team.
  • You’ll run workshops and user testing sessions (in-person and remote) to understand the needs of the business and the customer.
  • You’ll work closely with our development team on ensuring we are delivering the right thing.
  • You’ll iterate design work as we learn from previous releases and feedback.
  • You’ll mentor an in-house designer on core product design principles and help develop their ability.

Requirements

  • A leader capable of both excelling at the full product design process (discovery, wireframing, visual design, prototyping, testing and implementation) whilst bringing the wider team along with you on the journey.
  • A pro-active problem solver who never walks past a quality issue: a strong attention to detail, a pixel-perfect approach to design and a passion for developing beautifully designed products that are delightful to experience.
  • An accomplished hand developed from a wide range of experiences, especially for mobile and in eCommerce.
  • A dab hand at developing and working with full-stack design systems.
  • An analytical mind, used to working with both qualitative and quantitative data to influence design decisions.
  • An excellent communicator; able to quickly integrate with our multi-disciplinary and geographically dispersed team.
  • An Agile Team player, familiar with the way of working.
  • An Advocate for the need and importance of user-centred design across the company.
  • Someone familiar with modern design platforms (e.g. Figma).
