QA Developer

Remote, UK Based

The Job

Working as part of the Development team, the QA Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining the tests that run across the Adimo product suite. You will work closely with the development team to produce tests that cover all Adimo consumer facing integrations as well as developing tests for the backend systems that the Production team use. You will be familiar with CI/CD and will develop tests that run within Adimo’s deployment strategy. You will be a self-starter and your attention to detail will be of the utmost importance in this role.

What's Involved?

  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using the appropriate tools, automated tests
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and production) to identify system requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies


  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools

What would sweeten the deal?

  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
  • Experience with Chromium or similar Headless browsers
  • Experience with Github Actions and Workflows
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
