The Role

These responsibilities form the backbone of this role, though this is by no means exhaustive as we have so many opportunities for you to contribute to our success!

  • Build and lead an experienced and high performing business development team
  • Overseeing the business development pipeline, and forecasting and reporting on revenue growth for the senior management team
  • Play a key role in developing our commercial strategy
  • Advancing conversations with senior client contact and closing significant deals
  • Implement robust business development & due diligence processes
  • Build and deliver business development pitches to new clients
  • Contract and pricing negotiation
  • Renewals and upsells with Customer Success team
  • Work closely with our marketing team to optimise outbound marketing strategy

Responsbilities

  • Previous experience in growing SaaS scale-ups
  • Previous experience in leading a successful business development team
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • An excellent track record in reaching sales targets
  • Experienced with partnerships, channel partners, distribution and alike to find and develop new revenue streams

Nice to haves

None of these are essential to be a successful candidate for this role but if you have some of this experience, it will really help you hit the ground running.

  • Experience working with CPG clients
  • Experience of working with / selling e-commerce / retail media solutions
  • Knowledge of the digital marketing industry
